Feedback on Communication and Setup

A focused review built around practical decisions and constraints.

4.2 / 5 — Overall rating
"The booking confirmation arrived within an hour, but the real test came when we needed to change our pitch type two days before arrival. The team responded by email the same evening, explained the options clearly, and moved us to a shaded plot without extra fuss."

What worked well

The pre-arrival email included a clear map of the site, gate codes, and instructions for the motorhome service point. We appreciated that the message listed the exact dimensions of our pitch, so we knew our 7-meter rig would fit without blocking the access lane. The check-in desk had our details ready, and the staff walked us through the electric hookup meter settings before handing over the keys.

Where it got tricky

The Wi-Fi code printed on the welcome sheet was outdated, and the replacement required a visit to the reception desk. Also, the pool opening hours changed mid-week due to a lifeguard shortage, which was announced only on a small noticeboard near the entrance. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing if you plan around afternoon swims.

Practical notes for your stay

  • Email is the fastest way to reach the team; phone lines get busy between 10:00 and 12:00.
  • If you need a specific pitch number, request it at booking — changes are easier before the site fills up.
  • Check the noticeboard near the pool entrance daily for schedule updates.
  • Motorhome service point is open 24 hours, but the fresh water tap is locked after 22:00.
