Returning Client Review
A grounded review that adds a different angle without repeating the others.
We came back to Camping Les Vignes after a two-year gap, mostly because the first stay worked so well for our family. The second visit confirmed what we remembered: the pitches near the eastern hedge stay shaded until late afternoon, and the shower block closest to plot 42 is cleaned twice a day. That matters when you are travelling with a toddler and need warm water at odd hours.
What changed since our last trip is the check-in process. The reception now sends a text with the gate code and pitch number the day before arrival, so we skipped the queue entirely. The pool area has also been resurfaced, and the shallow end is clearly marked, which made the kids more confident. The restaurant menu is still short, but the grilled sardines and the house rosé are worth the wait.
The only real drawback is the Saturday turnover. The service point gets busy between 10 and 11 in the morning, and the road to the beach can back up. We planned our departure for Friday evening, which made the whole weekend feel longer. For anyone considering a return visit, that small scheduling shift makes a noticeable difference.
